Just a little poke

The poke cake was the most searched recipe on the internet in 2015, hadn't heard of these before, but apparently they've been around for a long time, so.. thought I'd try one and, with my family it had to be chocolate. We think people that don't like chocolate are a curiousity - not sure what to make of them - we're sure they are good people too, but we don't really understand them - lol.
So for all my chocolate loving friends - this one's for you:)
Chocolate poke cake
1 devils food chocolate cake mix
prepare according to directions on box.
bake in 9X13 pan and bake according to box.
when it is out of the oven - poke holes all over (use something similar in size to a pencil)
melt 1 c. semi sweet chocolate chips with 1 can sweetened condensed milk (about 12 oz)
pour over cake and spread to fill in holes.
set cake aside to cool, about an hour, then pop into fridge until completely cool.
Whipped topping
2 c. whipping cream
1/2 c icing sugar
1/4 c. + 2 tbsp cocoa
1/2 tsp. vanilla
whip cream until it thicken, then add icing sugar, cocoa and vanilla, continue whipping until stiff peaks for.
spread over top of cooled cake.
Now, you can stop here (but why would you?) or you can chop up 2 skor bars and grate a dairy milk to sprinkle over the top.
I did a chocolate syrup (hershey's ice cream syrup) over the top and onto the plate when I served it as a little extra touch:)
