Time - such a precious commodity! We never seem to have enough during the holiday season. I found this easy, easy recipe for a light and fluffy dessert that can be pre-made and kept in the freezer.
Chocolate Bar Pie
1 oreo cookie crust (pre-made works too)
18 OREO Cookies, finely crushed (about 1-1/2 cups)
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
Mix together and press into 9" pie shell that has been greased.
Refrigerate until ready to use.
5 full size milk chocolate with almond bars (1.45 oz size)
break into chunks and melt.
Let cool for a couple of minutes
Fold melted chocolate into
1 1/2 containers of cool whip - room temp
Stir until combined
Spoon into prepared crust
Sprinkle over top (as much as you like)
1 milk chocolate bar - grated
Refrigerate over night or until set
(can be frozen until needed - just take out a few hours before serving or put it in the fridge the night before)
