'knock your socks off' skor chocolate brownies

Have you ever noticed that on a plate of squares and bars, the brownie is always the first to go?


Skor Bar Chocolate Brownies


In saucepan or microwave (being careful not to over melt) melt
4 oz semi sweet or dark chocolate 
1 oz un-sweetened chocolate
1/2 c. butter
Remove from heat, stir until smooth and let cool for about 10 minutes


Whisk in 
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs - 1 at a time


Stir in
1/2 c. flour
pinch of salt


Fold in
3 skor bars that have been chopped.


Pour into parchment paper lined 8x8 pan (grease pan, layer parchment paper and lightly grease parchment paper)

Bake at 350 until cake tester in center comes out clean (might have a few crumbs clinging) - about 25 minutes.


Let cool and cut into bars.
