Let 's get grilling! The long weekend is here and we're all busy getting things ready for the summer. Working in the yard, getting the cottage open, ball tournaments, summer parties - we look forward to this season all winter long and this kabob recipe is quick, easy and delicious. Perfect for a fast meal after a day outside. It is a sweeter marinade - almost like a teriyaki - that leaves your chicken incredibly tender and tasty.
Chicken Kabob Marinade
Combine in a bowl & stir together
1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 c. low sodium soy sauce
1/3 c. honey
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
a pinch of cayenne pepper
Cut about 6 chicken breasts into cubes and place into the bowl with the marinade. Stir to coat the chicken.
Cover and refrigerate for about 4 hours.
Thread on to kabob skewers (mine are metal, but if you use bamboo, soak them first)
Grill until chicken is cooked.
