Peanut butter + cookie + chocolate chip = pure bliss;) This bar has it all! It has the texture of a cookie, some lovely peanut butter flavor and of course, my favorite, chocolate. Oh and did I say super simple to make? This comes together nice and fast, gives your house that baking smell (nothing better) and gives you a dessert that is easy to make into something a little less ordinary.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bar
In a large bowl add
1/2 c. peanut butter
2 large eggs
1 1/2 c. b. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
stir and add in
3/4 c. melted butter
When combined, add
2 c. flour (spooned into measuring cup, not packed)
1 tsp. b. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Gently stir in
2 c. chocolate chips
Press the dough into a 9x12" pan that has been lined with parchment paper (this makes it super easy to remove and cut into nice even square)
Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes, until it is set and golden brown. If your baking pan is a little bit different in size, just watch your baking time.
Let cool and cut into squares - yummy this way but you can also serve with ice cream (I reheated my bar in the microwave just before topping with ice cream) and chocolate sauce.
